Its such a beautiful place at any time of the year but particularly during winter set against a stunning blue sky

I have always wanted to paint the undulating hills and valleys of Swaledale all those dry stone walls and ancient barns with stunning countryside in the Dales complete with the wildlife and farm animals. I discovered this amazing view at the top of a hill looking down the valley towards the village of Mukker with barns as far as the eye can see and set up my paints and canvas
