Lac de Forêt March Collection to intimate impressionist portraits of20th century French School oil on wood panel signed Ren Frdric Ricard (1889 ?) in the lower left. The work is smooth to the touch. A view of a forest and lake with a hyper realistic representation of light. The illuminated areas are in harmony with the vegetal relief in the foreground. The light grows on the lake and its surroundings, creating a beautiful depth to the view. About the artist: Ren Frdric Ricard was a French Divisionist and Impressionist
