A mating dance going on up top, are they pheasants or another type fo bird? Long tail feathers, intact, wings out and beautiful. The carved decoration on the oval rims is superb, and it is raised on 4 brass feet. Interior is ready for a new lining, would likely have had an old silk satin, though there is some black paper
