I have walked past the Governor's Mansion in Denver many times and have always noticed the lines of the fence which surrounds the location

It didn't take too long for that to happen as I captured this image

but will do so in a few weeks for the season bringing more traffic to the road then what I saw on this day

with some saved spikes and other pieces of the old street car line along Tennyson

I planned to wake up early to get out to Washington Park prior to sunrise and see how it had been transformed

As this was in the middle of fall there were still plenty of leaves on the trees. A tree near the State Capitol was full of color which feel onto the fresh snow and brought the contrast of the seasons into light.
